Intricate Origami Designs Made Out of Money by Won Park

The Hawaii-based artist Won Park first started doing Origami when he was six years old. As a form of entertainment when they couldn't afford a lot of new toys, his mother would rip up old phone books and teach him how to create many basic Origami designs. Since then, Park has continued making this type of art—called Moneygami—for more than thirty years and has earned commissions to create custom designs for all kinds of publications including Wired magazine (UK), NEWSWEEK, and a variety of book covers.
