Beautiful Photos of Golden Gate Bridge Blanketed in Fog

San Francisco-based photographer Daniel Pivnick loves taking photos of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge when it is beautifully blanketed in fog. "The main reason is because of the mood it creates, which to me, is a subdued, and mysterious tone," he explains to My Modern Met. "It also feels like I could be standing on an island, completely separated from the urban center just a few miles away. But I think the most compelling reason is that the fog is never the same, which means that each time I come away with a different image with a different feel to it."
